The lack of inter-brand compatibility is a big annoyance with current 3D glasses--not to mention they are against our fashionable couch potato aesthetic. Fortunately, the XpanD universal 3D glasses are finally available for pre-order on Amazon, even though there is no word about shipment dates. However, they are currently priced at $108, that is slightly less than the range of the $125-$150 quoted by XpanD Chief Strategy Officer Ami Dror last spring. That said, no surprise the price reduction could justify their PR place as "the most anticipated product in the history of 3D."
